I began my career with Bill Knapps as a restaurant manager back in 1990. By chance, I met a property management broker and began my career in Real Estate. I worked as a property manager for Phoenix Properties for 10 years. My love for always learning earned me a teaching degree, and in 2001 I began my teaching career. I retired from teaching in 2013 and entered back into the Real Estate field. I thrive on the fast-paced, customer oriented service the real estate profession demands. I truly love helping my clients with all their real estate needs.

I grew up in Michigan's beautiful Upper Peninsula in a town called Baraga. My mother owned and operated a tavern there for 28 years. Through her and her loyal customers, is where I learned the value of good, true customer service.

I moved to Kalamazoo in 1989, and completely fell in love with Southwest Michigan. I recently married my best friend, Rick. I have two boys, Mitch and Clay, and two step-children, Brock and Taylor. Rick and I have a beautiful blended family. We cherish our family time and look forward to our weekly Family Game Night.

Children are my focus. For the last 15 years I have volunteered in classrooms reading to children, tutoring in math, and mentoring. I currently volunteer at Parchment Middle School in a 6th grade math class.

Cooking is my passion! I LOVE to cook. In fact, my house is usually filled with all the neighborhood children looking for a good meal. I also love reading, gardening, and canning. The only thing I love more than cooking, is football. I am an avid Parchment Panther Fan and a die-hard Detroit Lion Fan.
